This month UnderTheArches.com is featuring its first member in the “Member Spotlight”. The UnderTheArches.com Member Spotlight is a monthly award (of sorts…) that is given to one of the finest members of UnderTheArches.com. The Member Spotlight is reserved for some the most well rounded members of this site. We are pleased to announce that Flutie22 is our featured member for August 2009.

Flutie22 was one of our first members to join UnderTheArches.com. He has provided great insight and informative post’s since becoming a member. Flutie is a diehard Cowboys and Boston College fan. So much so that he is contemplating wearing a Matt Ryan jersey to the Falcons game on October 25. Here are some other interesting tidbits about UnderTheArches.com’s own Flutie22.

UnderTheArches.com: What is your name?
Flutie22: Justin

UnderTheArches.com: Where are you from?
Flutie22:
Dallas, Texas

UnderTheArches.com: What is your greatest Cowboys memory?
Flutie22: My greatest Cowboys memory is the 1994 NFC Championship Game when the 'boys defeated the 49ers. Wow. At that time, the AFC couldn't hold a candle to the NFC, so many, including me, regarded the conference championship as the real Super Bowl. My second favorite is probably when I was a student at Boston College, when the Cowboys beat the Steelers in SB 30. I was perhaps the only Cowboys fan on campus. What a great feeling.

UnderTheArches.com: How long have you been a Cowboys fan?
Flutie22: Ever since I can remember watching games with my Dad - I was probably about 6 years old (circa 1980). I vaguely recall "The Catch." Being a young Cowboys fan in the '80s was like having your heart broken over and over again. My most painful memory is probably getting shut out 20-0 by the L.A. Rams on January 4, 1985 in the divisional playoff.

UnderTheArches.com: What made you the Cowboys fan you are today?
Flutie22: My Dad mostly. And the players. I had half the roster memorized by age 9. Ed "Too Tall" Jones - No. 72. Harvey Martin - 78. Drew Pearson - 88. Randy White - 54. Tony "Thrill" Hill - 80. Butch Johnson - 86. Growing up I wanted to play receiver, so I especially admired Cowboys receivers. I ended up playing QB through high school, though. And the cheerleaders.

UnderTheArches.com: How often do you visit UnderTheArches.com?
Flutie22:
Daily!

UnderTheArches.com: What other Cowboys fan sites do you visit?
Flutie22:
None, except for the Dallas Cowboys True Blue Forums.

UnderTheArches.com: What is your favorite thing about your seat location in Cowboys Stadium?
Flutie22:
I have several locations but have not been able to experience them yet. I imagine I'll enjoy my Club Seats in C112 mostly because they are close to the field and will hopefully provide a great sightline from the 35 yard line. I doubt I will spend much time in the Cowboys Club, unless we are losing by 4 touchdowns and I am in need of scotch.

UnderTheArches.com: Any other information you would like to share?
Flutie22:
I am huge BC Eagles fan and a big fan of Matt Ryan. I'm debating whether to wear my Matt Ryan jersey to the Cowboys-Falcons game in October. I'm also a huge Texas Rangers fan.
