Reports were made earlier in the week that the Washington Redskins were attempting to move star DT Albert Haynesworth in a deal with the Philadelphia Eagles over the Easter weekend. Apparently that incident isn't isolated as it appears that the Redskins are still trying to unload the DT. However, the asking price and the retail price may be to much to bargain for with most teams.
Albert Haynesworth signed a contract just last year with the Washington Redskins that would gaurantee $41 Million. As a matter of fact he recevied a roster bonus of $21 Million earlier this year. It is hard to believe that Washington would accept anything less than a first round pick and its even harder to believe that most teams in this league would take on such a contract.
None-the-less, reports indicate Haynesworth is un-happy in a 3-4 defense and has not made a good impression on new head coach Mike Shanahan. The Cowboys certainly would not be available after finding pro bowler DT Jay Ratliff.
