Sure, there are some extremely weird Dallas Cowboys videos out there. However, what about the dusty gems that might get overlooked in your standard online search? With inspiration from stuff Cowboys fans say to alleged alien encounters at the stadium, there never seems to be an end to weird videos from this NFL team.

Everyone tries to make a theme song

In the past, it was common to have a marching band anthem for your team. There was also a song that went along with television and radio broadcasts such as the Dallas Cowboy theme song from the 1970s. Today, teams continue to have a cache of songs that identify the team brand.

Despite the professional approach to this facet of advertising the games, musicians these days sometimes feel compelled to post a YouTube video for their ideas on new theme songs for the team. Good examples include Dallas Cowboys 2011 theme by Kojack and the funny rap by We Are America's Team. However, the "PhilaDehlia Rap" about the Philadelphia Eagles beating the Dallas Cowboys is definitely one of the most bizarre.

Weirdest Cowboys rookies

Larry Cole was a 1969 Washington Redskins rookie that has a strange specialty for scoring against the Washington Redskins. He did it four times starting in 1969 with two touchdowns against the mighty Redskins and another the following year. It took him 11 years, but in 1980, he did it a fourth time much to the surprise of the Redskins.

As far as a Cowboys rookie with the most unique follow-up sports career, Herschel Walker may be a good candidate. Walker started and ended his NFL years with the Cowboys, but played 11 of those years with the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, and New York Giants.

Instead of retiring in 1989 and putting the days of exercise and competition behind him, Walker did the opposite. Twenty years after his NFL career, the fifty year old MVP player has switched to Mixed Martial Arts. In 2010, he said in an interview, "I do 3,500 sit ups and 1,500 push ups every day."

Dallas Cowboys inspired fashion and makeup

When you search YouTube, you can find over 10 listings for Dallas Cowboys makeup tutorials. While this sounds like a stretch, ladies these days are finding that every color of the rainbow can help them support their team. For this reason, do not forget to do your nails in team colors and give yourself a Cowboys buzz cut.

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders on Sasquatch show

Following the 1987 hit film "Harry and the Hendersons," a television series of the same name was aired for three seasons starting in 1989. During one of the episodes, three Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders do some acting and strut their stuff. Of course, the time period, the big hair, and the giant stuffed animal make this weird.

Thankfully, with new incidents popping up on the internet everyday, there is a strong likelihood that there will be more weird Dallas Cowboy moments for us to enjoy in the near future.
