The New England Patriots are reportedly haggling with the Dallas Cowboys as they try to land talented Cal-Berkeley defensive end Cameron Jordan, according to ESPN.
The Cowboys select ninth overall, which is a bit higher than where Jordan has been projected by most draft analysts.
And the Patriots select 17th overall and 28th overall in the first round. The Patriots would likely have to package their first first-round draft pick as well as one of their second-round selections in order to move up that high.
Call it a hunch, but I tend to think this trade scenario won't amount to much.
