For the season, Chad Ochocinco has nine catches for 136 yards - or what used to amount to a good day's work for him in seasons' past.

And though Ochocinco had no catches on Sunday in a 20-16 victory over the Dallas Cowboys, the Patriots say they are happy with the receiver's efforts. With the trade deadline approaching today, New England execs say they have no plans to deal the disappointing receiver.

"We’re happy with what Chad’s done for us,” Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio told the Boston Herald. “He’s probably one of our best practice players. He goes out there, he works hard, practices hard, he’s out there on the field, he competes. We’re six games in with a long season and we’re happy that Chad’s on the team.”

That happiness, however, has not turned into productivity, and how long the Patriots remain "happy" with Ochocinco is yet to be determined.
