Peterson left the Vikings’ 27-21 loss to Oakland early in the second quarter after a nifty 12-yard run. Peterson limped off the field and was taken by cart to the locker room for X-rays, which were negative. He was scheduled to have an MRI on Monday to make sure there was no more damage, but Peterson said he hoped to play next Sunday at Atlanta.

SPEAKING

“The way I’m playing right now, they need to go and cut me, because I’m definitely not worth what I’m getting.” - Redskins cornerback DeAngelo Hall after a 27-24 overtime loss to Dallas.
