The Dallas Cowboys hit the lull in their schedule just in time to make a move to separate themselves from the NFC East pack. However, they have not been the most graceful wins. While the thumping of Seattle and blowout of Buffalo was nice, they struggled with wins over Washington and Miami. Now, the Cowboys get Arizona and hope to use this win to give them a good head of steam as they head into their divisional game with the New York Giants.

Here is a look at the Dallas Cowboys' Week 13 opponent, the Arizona Cardinals.

Quarterback

The Arizona Cardinals should get Kevin Kolb back for their game with Dallas on Dec. 4. Kolb has missed the past four games with a foot injury. The question is whether or not the Cardinals want him back. He is guaranteed to start when ready but Arizona is 3-1 with John Skelton as the starting quarterback. However, he has played poorly over the last two games. Kolb hasn't been great either, with eight touchdowns and eight interceptions over seven games. NFL sack leader DeMarcus Ware will surely be licking his chops at the thought of getting his hands on Kolb.

Running Back

Remember when DeMarco Murray broke the Dallas Cowboys single-game rushing record against St. Louis? Beanie Wells did the same thing in Week 12 against the same team. Wells has been playing hurt all season but ran for 228 yards and two touchdowns against the Rams. Now, he won't do that against Dallas but the Cowboys need to make sure Sean Lee is ready to stop this explosive back before he gets moving.

Wide Receiver

Larry Fitzgerald is still one of the most dangerous weapons in the NFL. However, he has been having an off-year thanks to the quarterback play and only has 48 receptions for 833 yards and six touchdowns through ten games. What might make Dallas happy is he has four touchdowns in four games with Skelton at quarterback. If Kolb returns, those numbers equal two touchdowns over seven games.

Arizona Defense

The Cardinals rank in the bottom six for pass defense, which means Tony Romo should have plenty of opportunities to shred them as the game progresses. Expect Laurent Robinson to find the end zone for the sixth game in a row. They are also middle-of-the-road against the run, meaning DeMarco Murray should have another 100-plus yard performance for the Cowboys. This team is nowhere near as good defensively as Washington and Miami and this will be more like the Buffalo game for Dallas.

Author Shawn S. Lealos has followed the Dallas Cowboys since he was a child, his favorite players range from Roger Staubach and Tony Dorsett to the Triplets of the 90s. Through the great years of the '90s and the hard times of the '80s, Shawn never turned his back on America's Team.
