Louisville cornerback Johnny Patrick just concluded a visit with the Dallas Cowboys.
He previously had dinner with the San Francisco 49ers following his campus Pro Day workout in front of 27 NFL teams.
Patrick ran the 40-yard dash in 4.46 seconds after clocking a 4.59 at the NFL scouting combine.
Patrick intercepted five passes last season and was invited to the Senior Bowl, but didn't participate due to an injury. He returned one for a touchdown, recording 51 tackles and 17 pass deflections.
Patrick was popular at the NFL scouting combine, conducting 13 formal interviews.
Patrick met with the Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Philadelphia Eagles, St. Louis Rams, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Carolina Panthers, 49ers, Houston Texans, New York Jets, Cowboys, Pittsburgh Steelers and the Arizona Cardinals.
He was named to the All-Big East Conference team, recording 6 1/2 tackles for losses and 12 pass deflections.
In a bowl game win over Southern Miss, Patrick blocked a field goal and knocked down a pass.
For his career, he finished with 171 tackles and nine interceptions.
