Let’s make a deal!

Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, always one to seek the spotlight, is laying the groundwork to get the most mileage possible out of the No. 9 pick in the draft. Jones told said today that he’s already fielded inquiries from two teams interesting in moving up to that spot in the draft, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

What’s the best advertising for the No. 9 pick? To let people know it’s for sale. There is no guaranteeing the Cowboys move out the spot. They’ve vastly overrated their talent for a few years there. As the report indicates, many mock drafts have Dallas selecting Nebraska cornerback Prince Amakamura. Certainly they could use some help in the secondary.
