Former Dallas Cowboys linebacker Eugene Lockhart has been jailed after federal authorities realized he failed to report to them that he had been arrested for public intoxication.

Lockhart had been free pending an August trial on mortgage fraud, according to the Dallas Morning News, and now he’ll have wait behind bars.

Lockhart and a 28-year-old woman were arrested in October at 3 a.m. when they emerged from the back of his Cadillac Escalade parked outside an office building. Per the report, Lockhart “appeared to have dressed hastily and was drunk.” Lockhart asked the woman, Cristy Dorothy, to lie about knowing him.

Lockhart was originally charged in the mortgage case in September 2009. He was taken to jail last July for failing a cour-ordered drug test. The judge informed him to report any further arrests. He failed to do so.
