The NFL supplemental draft is scheduled to take place Aug. 22 and will feature players who hadn't made themselves eligible for the NFL Draft in April. The basic rules about the supplemental draft is if a player is selected in the second round, the team must forfeit their second-round pick in the next NFL Draft.
For teams looking to add a quarterback like Terrelle Pryor, they would need to weigh the pros and cons of selection him at a high position.
Terrelle Pryor - Quarterback
The most known name on this list was just made eligible by the NFL. Pryor was to be suspended for five games in the 2011 season at Ohio State but left the school following the resignation of head coach Jim Tressel. Pryor might be the most talented player in the group but also comes with the most baggage. He will have to sit out five games in the NFL because of his NCAA suspension.
Caleb King - Running Back
King didn't have the most successful of careers during his time at Georgia when it came to getting on the field. In 2010, he carried the ball just 80 times for 430 yards with two touchdowns. When he got on the field, he was amazing for the Bulldogs but actually playing on Saturday was an issue for the 23-year-old. Depending on where he ends up, he will have a chance to be a star at some point in his career.
Mike McAdoo - Defensive End
The 6-foot-7-inch, 245-pound McAdoo is entering the supplemental draft after being ruled permanently ineligible for academic misconduct. During two seasons at North Carolina in a rotation role, he recorded just 3 1/2 sacks. With his size, he could become a solid defensive end, but he needs to have quick feet, especially at that height.
Tracy Wilson - Defensive Back
Playing for Northern Illinois, Wilson recorded 35 total tackles a year ago, with just one interception. In 2009, he recorded 93 tackles for the Huskies, giving the team hope for a repeat solid season.
Torez Jones - Defensive Back
Jones has a chance to become one of the better players taken in this draft. In 2010, he played 10 games for the Western Carolina Catamounts, recording seven interceptions for 54 yards. He has great speed and nice hands for college, but whether he can adjust to the speed at the professional level will be interesting.
Keenan Mace - Defensive End
The 6-foot-4, 313-pound Mace is the biggest question mark in the draft. He played his freshman year at Lindenwood but didn't see action in 2008 or 2009. Then in 2010, he recorded 24 tackles and a sack. Earlier this spring, Mace signed with the Dallas Cowboys but was then released.
