Running back DeMarco Murray passed his physical and has been removed from the non-football injury list, clearing him to join practices with the Dallas Cowboys.

A pulled hamstring had sidelined the former Sooners star, who dealt with injuries during his career at Oklahoma. Still, he’s an intriguing prospect and now he’s in the mix, along with Tashard Choice, who had been sidelined with a calf strain, according to the Dallas Morning News.

They’re all in the mix to claim the backup role behind Felix Jones. Lonvae Miller and Phillip Tanner are also in the mix, taking advantage of opportunities while the others were injured.
