I have been a Dallas Cowboys fan since the day I was born. Being born in the '80s I have seen the years of greatness in the mid 1990s, followed by the downfall, only to see the light again recently. While Hall of Famers like Troy Aikman and Emmit Smith are long gone, the Dallas Cowboys look to have a promising year.
Week 1 - New York Jets on September 11th, 2011 at 7:20 p.m. in New York
This game will be very difficult. Mark Sanchez has proven he is a top NFL quarterback and the New York Jets defense can't be overlooked. This game will really set the tone for the season
Week 2- San Francisco 49ers on September 18th, 2011 at 3:05 p.m. in San Francisco
Week 2 versus the San Francisco 49ers should be an easy week but the defense must contain Michael Crabtree. Crabtree has proven to be an explosive receiver that can turn games around.
Week 3 - Washington Redskins on September 26th, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Dallas
When these two teams play it will always be a hard fought game. While Dallas should come out on top, Donovan McNabb may have another win left in him.
Week 4 - Detroit Lions on October 2nd, 2011 at Noon in Dallas
The Dallas Cowboys should win this game with ease. If not, look to see major changes in the coaching staff and skill positions.
Week 5 - New England Patriots on October 16th, 2011 at 3:15 p.m. in New England
Week 5 against the New England Patriots will show where the team ranks in the league. For years Tom Brady has led the team deep into the playoffs and shown they have what it takes to win.
Week 6 - St. Louis Rams on October 23rd, 2011 at 3:15 p.m. in Dallas
This should turn out to be a very good game. Sam Bradford gained some much needed experience last year and should be getting some help in this years draft.
Week 7 - Philadelphia Eagles on October 30th, 2011 at 7:20 p.m. in Philadelphia
This game will be a critical road game for the the team. In order to win the must shut down the Philadelphia Eagles offense.
Week 8 - Seattle Seahawks on November 6th, 2011 at Noon in Dallas
If Tony Romo wants to be competitive this year and make the playoffs this is a must win at home game in the middle of the season. If they lose in week eight at home they will be in trouble.
Week 9 - Buffalo Bills on November 13th, 2011 at Noon in Dallas
This game is another critical game. While it should be a fairly easy win a loss or a close game could put doubt in the minds of fans.
Week 10 - Washington Redskins on November 20th, 2011 at Noon in Washington
This week three rematch could a thorn in the side of the Dallas Cowboys. They have never played will on the road vs. the Redskins and they will need a win against their divisional rival.
Week 11 - Miami Dolphins on November 24th, 2011 at 3:15 p.m. in Dallas
The Thanksgiving day game this year should be an easy win. They key to stopping the Dolphins is to stop the wildcat offense.
Week 12 - Arizona Cardinals on December 4th, 2011 at 3:15 p.m. in Arizona
The Cardinals have been in a bit of a slump since their super bowl loss and this should be a win for the Cowboys if they can manage the ball well.
Week 13 - New York Giants on December 11th, 2011 at 7:20 p.m. in Dallas
This game will have important playoff implications, including deciding home field advantage. I expect it to be a hard fought defensive struggle with few turnovers.
Week 14 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers on December 17th, 2011 at 7:20 p.m. in Tampa Bay
Another must win if the Cowboys hope to make the playoffs. Tony Romo simply can't lose important road games like this if he hopes to win a Super Bowl.
Week 15 - Philadelphia Eagles on December 24th, 2011 at 3:15 p.m. in Dallas
Beating the Eagles at home should go a long way to putting the Cowboys in the playoffs. But it won't be easy to contain Michael Vick and the rest of the speedy offense.
Week 16 - New York Giants on January 1st, 2012 at Noon in New York
The last game of the season could be the most important. It will be a physical game that will come down to a few last second points.
