A lot of shifting is taking place on the offensive line for the Dallas Cowboys with Leonard Davis set free and Marc Colombo a candidate to be replaced.

But the Cowboys were able to retain tackle Doug Free, signing him to a $32 million, four-year contract, according to the Dallas Morning News. The deal includes a $17 million signing bonus and ensures he’ll be in place for the beginning of training camp even if he cannot practice immediately per the new league rules for this year.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were also involved in the bidding for Free, a former Northern Illinois product. Now, Free and first-round draft pick Tyron Smith figure to be the starting tackles for the Cowboys.
