Jason Garrett has another position on his coaching staff as the Dallas Cowboys will bring back a familiar figure from the playing days of the former quarterback.

Mike Woicik is expected to be hired as the team’s strength and conditioning coach, according to Gerry Fraley of the Dallas Morning News, reuniting him with the franchise he worked for from 1990 to 1996.

Woicik has six Super Bowl rings, picking up the first three with the Cowboys and then earning three with the New England Patriots, where he worked from 1997 through this past season. He will replace Joe Juraszek, who missed the last half of the 2010 season because of family issues. Juraszek is not expected to return.

The hope, according to Fraley, is that Woicik will help change the culture for the Cowboys. That’s a good idea but change in that way usually starts all the way at the top, right?
