Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Miles Austin didn't come into the game against he San Francisco 49ers fully healthy and he certainly didn't leave the game fully healthy, either.
Austin caught nine passes for 143 yards and a career-high three touchdowns in the Cowboys' 27-24 win. However, "Austin reinjured his hamstring in the fourth quarter Sunday, and his status is uncertain," ESPN reports. He'll get one more day of rest this week since the Cowboys play the Washington Redskins on Monday Night Football next week. The site reports that the team is concerned he could be out till the Week 5 bye.
"I'd rather play healthy," Austin said, the site reports. "But you've got to go out there, and everyone else is sticking their neck out there so you've got to do the same thing."
Austin went on to say that he didn't feel like he had his best game: "I messed up a bunch of times," he said, ESPN reports. If it means winning games, it seems like the Cowboys would be happy to have him mess up plenty more times.
