The Indianapolis Colts are placing wide receiver Austin Collie on injured reserve due to repeated concussions and have signed former Baltimore Ravens safety Ken Hamlin to replace him on the roster.
Colts owner Jim Irsay announced the transactions on his Twitter account.
"A tough and talented football player," Irsay wrote of Collie.
Collie caught two touchdowns in his final game of the season against the Jacksonville Jaguars before suffering another concussion.
Hamlin is a former Pro Bowl selection who played for the Ravens this season before being released.
He has previous stints with the Dallas Cowboys and the Seattle Seahawks.
