Dallas Cowboys running back Felix Jones has missed the last three games after suffering a high left ankle sprain on Oct. 16 during a game against the New England Patriots.
He underwent an "extensive workout" Monday and will get another look on Tuesday, according to the Dallas Morning News.
"He had a good workout," head coach Jason Garrett said, according to the Morning News. "He's going to have another workout [Tuesday] and we'll see how he feels on Wednesday. We're certainly hopeful."
The 24-year-old first-round pick in the 2008 draft out of Arkansas rushed for 800 yards and one touchdown last year along with scoring another off a reception. This year, he's rushed for 253 yards and one touchdown in the five games he's appeared in.
