Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay, who loves to send out news via his Twitter account says the Colts should have seven general manager candidates interviewed by Monday.

Irsay loves his Twitter account so much, I'm surprised he didn't fire Bill Polian via his account.

Nonetheless, those on the radar for the Colts new GM, according to the Indianapolis Star, include Colts director of player personnel Tom Telesco; Atlanta Falcons director of player personnel Les Snead and Falcons director of college scouting David Caldwell; Dallas Cowboys director of scouting Tom Ciskowski; New York Giants director of college scouting Marc Ross; Philadelphia Eagles director of player personnel Ryan Grigson and Jim Popp, general manager of the Montreal Alouettes of the Canadian Football League.

Irsay went so far as to hint about Popp by sending out a trivia question via Twitter.

Once a new GM is in place, that person will help to decide whether or not Coach Jim Caldwell is retained and then have to make the big decision of the off-season of what to do about Peyton Manning and/or Andrew Luck.
