So how does Brad Windham follow up his 2010 UnderTheArches.com Fantasy Football Champion? He wins it all over again in 2011. During our Fantasy draft this year Brad claimed he was going to be successful in defending his championship. And he did so in convincing fashion.
Brad, the team owner of East Texas Bulldogs finished the regular season at 11-2 which also qualified him for the league’s best record. Brad's roster was stacked with playmakers after his draft and he was in-deed poised for success in this year’s league.
However the story of the year might not be Brad's repeat. It may very well be the story of Blake Hassell, the team owner of "Stupid Noodle Game". Hassell started the season 0-6 only to finish the regular season with 7 straight wins. The Denver Broncos of this year’s league, Hassell made decisive trades that helped and hindered his team. Hassell traded away star QB Tom Brady and RB Shon Greene for stud running back Adrian Peterson.
The trade was question by league particpants. But none-the-less, Hassell went on a 8 game winning streak including 1 win in the playoffs. Hassell's run was ended in the playoffs when he fell to the eventual league runner-up David McGlothlin (SUPER DAVE).
This year’s league was a huge success! Reward prizes have been given as follows:
League Champion - Brad Windham - Customized Trophy and $288
League Runner-up - David McGlothlin - $96
Best Record - Brad Windham - $96
Thanks to all who participated. I suppose now the only question is, will Brad go for a Three-peat next season?
