Bill Parcells is aware that his credibility when it comes to his future is a bit suspect.
Nonetheless, Parcells reiterated that he's not coming back to work in the NFL after stepping away from his job with the Miami Dolphins.
"I'm done," Parcells said during a conference call to discuss his nomination for the New England Patriots' Hall of Fame. "I know I've said that before. I think I'm going to leave the NFL to someone else right now.
The former New York Giants, Patriots, New York Jets and Dallas Cowboys head coach also said he wished he had done a few things differently during his tenure with the Patriots, citing "domestic misunderstandings."
Parcells clashed with Patriots owner Robert Kraft before leaving to join the Jets.
During the call, Parcells praised Patriots coach Bill Belichick.
"You can put his name up there with anybody that's ever done it," Parcells said. "Just put him right up there at the top of the conversation with what he's done."
