NBC cameras saw the Ryan brothers searching to find each other at midfield on Sunday night after the New York Jets pulled off a come-from-behind victory at MetLife Stadium over the Dallas Cowboys.
There’s been some communication between the brothers since.
Rob Ryan, the Cowboys defensive coordinator, revealed that Rex Ryan left him a voice mail this week.
"Yeah, he left some really unflattering messages, but it's to be expected,'' Rob Ryan said, according to David Moore of the Dallas Morning News. "It's coming back to him one of these days.
"There is no compassion there at all. No.''
Rob Ryan said he couldn’t summarize the message without risk of maybe getting in a little bit of trouble.
“There was no PG thing about them,'' Rob Ryan said. "I think it was R or worse.''
Ryan was then asked how long it took him to get past Sunday night's loss.
Hey, at least they didn’t drop any bombs over the network like Jaws did the next night on Monday.
