ARLINGTON, TEXAS (AP) —Pro Bowl receiver Miles Austin(notes) is back in the starting lineup for the Dallas Cowboys after missing four games with right hamstring injury.
Fullback Tony Fiammetta(notes) also returns for Dallas for Sunday night’s game against the New York Giants after missing three games with an undisclosed illness.
The Giants are without three starting defenders: end Osi Umenyiora(notes) (ankle, knee), linebacker Mark Herzlich(notes) (ankle) and safety Kenny Philllips (knee). Jason Pierre-Paul(notes) starts at right end, Chase Blackburn(notes) at middle linebacker and Deon Grant(notes) at safety.
Also inactive for the Giants are center David Baas(notes) (neck, headaches). Kevin Boothe(notes) moves from left guard to center.
Out injured for Dallas are backup quarterback Jon Kitna(notes) (back), tight end Martellus Bennett(notes) (ribs) and nose tackle Josh Brent(notes) (knee).
