Anyone ever stay at the Ranger Inn and Suites on Six Flags Drive? They are not a chain. Kinda leery. We want to stay close by. I need 5 rooms for October 10th. Basically, we may be in the Hotel all of about 6 hours. Come in at 2am and get up at 8am. So the guys I am going with do not care to spend a lot of money on rooms. They got them for $69 per night. But no confirmation number. Any other places that you recommend? We stayed right next to this place last year at the SleepGate Inn (I think that was the name) but they do not have the rooms for us for that night. Humperdink's and 3rd Base are right next door.

I use trip advisor to check out reviews of hotels. You have to read all the reviews, not the most recent as often hotels will "sneak in" one or two. Your place has mixed reviews. It seems the location and low price is the big draw.

The location next to 3rd Base is a huge draw.

There are a few good marriott hotels close by. And actually, when I fly in I usually just stay at a hotel close to the DFW Airport. I usually stay at a Fairfield Inn up by the airport. Prices are cheap and rooms are good. The drive from Irving to Arlington isn't bad at all. 25 minutes I think. Give that a thought. :)

From what it sounds like, you're looking for a qucik place to crash. I am the same way, where I just want a bed when I go out there. Last year I stayed at the Knights Inn a few times. It looks kind of seedy on the outside, but remarkably the rooms are well taken care of and the staff there were always some of the most pleasant hotel staffers I've come across. Only a 5 minute drive to the stadium and the drive back to it after the game was never bad.
