Road games & good ticket buying practice

I will be attending the game at Reliant. Anyone wanting to attend this or any other road game should decide and buy tickets immediately upon schedule release. I bought my dec 09 saints game tix on stubhub for $88 ea last april. Same upper corners went to $300+. I definately felt I got my moneys worth. Hope the Texans game is a Sun aft game!

I went to a Texans game at Reliant a few years ago. I remember it being a very nice stadium. But that was before we had our new stadium to compare it to.
My Cowboys road trip plans are to go see the Boys vs Cardinals in AZ. I have a friend who is a Cowboys fan and lives in Phoenix. He mentioned he wanted to see the Cowboys
next time they came to town.

I may entertain the idea of doing this as well. Maybe we all should plan together. It could be an underthearches attack on Reliant. :)

Pending the schedule release, my road trip games will be to Arizona and either Indy or Minnesota (I think I'd prefer to see Indy's stadium).

Last year I went to Denver and KC (and made it out to Cowboys Stadium 3 times).

I plan on going to a few games this year as usual. I'll definitely travel to Dallas and typically each year I try and go to 1 new stadium each year. This year I've decided to go to Green Bay!

So I am assuming I'll go to Dallas, Green Bay, and Washington DC.

Maybe I'll get to Dallas twice, who knows...

By the way, Im modifying the subject of this thread as talk in regards to any road games can be placed in this thread, not just the Houston game.

we will more than likely also be going to the Cowboys Texans game this year. We have some family that lives in Houston so we have a place to stay, and they have a motor home that they have talked about bringing it to tailgate with for this game. I think that it may be a night game, most likely on MNF because they might try to play the iner-state rivalry story line, but could also possibly be on NFL network's road to the playoffs since they were one game out of the playoffs last year.

Jeffrey, if you can find two games to the Green Bay game, I'll go with you. We can work out the details later on.

That'd be awesome Vet. Anyone I ever talk to that has been to Green Bay says it is a must-see simply because of the traditional and history of that stadium.

I like this idea! How do you find out when these tickets become available?

Well, you can check each teams website for availability. But there is always stubhub, ebay, and even the tickethub here on UnderTheArches.com. Of course I'd prefer the TicketHub here...

However, I've got some exciting news that Im about to make a blog post about on the front page of the site...

I have heard Green Bay is fantastic. The guys that own the seats in front of mine (they come down from OKC every week) went to the Packers-Cowboys game last year and had a great time. I defintely want to do at least one road game this season. Depending on the schedule maybe two. I agree getting the tickets early is the best bet.

    Lets hope GB is Sept-Oct.

I'd like to open @ giants, payback!

The more sun night games on the road = less SNF @ home. But please let @ Texans be an afternoon game!

A perfect home season for me would only include one night game, a sat nite NFLN game. Dream on right?

Personally my favorite is a Noon start, early tailgate, bacon wrapped shrimp qualifies as breakfast, followed by a strong runnnig game, victory by about 2:45pm. Home by 6pm.

An early season noon game would be nice, Rangers game on Sat, 'Boys @ Noon Sun. It'll happen one year.
